How to Use Your Bonfire Magic Candle:

1. Trim the Wicks: Before each burn, trim the wicks to 1/4 inch to ensure a clean and even burn. Wood wicks: Trim to about⅛–¼ inch before each burn. Light across the wick, not just one edge. Proper wick maintenance helps prevent soot buildup and extends the life of your candle.
2. Place on a Heat-Resistant Surface: Always place your candle on a heat-resistant surface or a dedicated candle tray. This prevents any potential heat damage to your furniture and provides a stable base for the candle.
3. Allow Wax to Melt to the Edge: For an optimal burn, allow the wax to melt completely to the edges of the jar with each use. This practice, known as creating a full melt pool, prevents tunneling and helps the candle burn evenly, maximizing its lifespan.
4. Avoid Drafts: Keep your candle away from drafts, open windows, and fans. Drafts can cause uneven burning, flickering, and excess soot, affecting the candle's performance and scent throw.
5. Extinguish with a Wick Snuffer: To extinguish your candle, use a wick snuffer. This method minimizes smoke and soot, preserving the fragrance and maintaining a clean environment.
6. Discontinue Use When Low: For safety, discontinue burning your candle when less than 1/4 inch of wax remains at the bottom. This prevents overheating of the jar and reduces the risk of damage or fire.
7. Safety First: Always keep your candle away from pets and young children. Never leave a burning candle unattended. Place candles in areas where they cannot be easily knocked over to prevent accidents and ensure a safe environment.
